Facilities Engineer 3
— a skilled professional who takes pride in solving complex problems, maintaining our facilities and residences, and ensuring every member and guest enjoys a seamless experience.
Schedule: 4 ten-hour days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 10 am to 8:30 pm

What You’ll Do Leadership & Teamwork
Promote a positive and supportive work environment
Communicate effectively with all departments and coworkers
Work independently with minimal supervision
Represent the Engineering Department in the absence of the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor
Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to newer team members
Maintain a polite, professional, and courteous attitude toward guests and coworkers
Technical & Maintenance
Perform repairs to plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation, and building structures
Demonstrate advanced skill in HVAC/BAS systems…
Administration & Organization
Attend departmental meetings and communicate effectively with management
Document work clearly; complete and submit concise work orders and reports
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Safety & Other Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of staff, members, and guests at all times
Perform required roles during emergency situations
Assist with strenuous tasks such as snow removal and moving heavy equipment
Continue learning new maintenance skills and seek additional training opportunities
Complete other assignments as directed by Engineering Management
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED required
Post-secondary vocational or technical training in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry preferred
HVAC Certification or extensive HVAC experience highly preferred
Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in an institutional, commercial, or hospitality setting preferred
Licenses & Specialized Skills
EPA 608 Certification (preferred)
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Knowledge of Local & National Building Codes
Strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience
Preventive maintenance and equipment repair skills
Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
Experience in energy efficiency and sustainability practices
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions
Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, and risk of electrical shock
Noise levels range from moderate to loud
Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, and repetitive motions
Continuous standing and walking; occasional sitting or balancing
Regularly lift up to 30 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs
