Project Manager- Life Science (Design and Construction) — Seattle PMA is a national real estate advisory firm providing consulting services as the owner's representative, including development management, project management, program management and investor representation. Your Role As a Project Manager, you will interface with PMA clients and project teams through a process of strategic real estate planning, design, and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : You have 3+ years of development and project management experience within the Life Science or Pharmaceutical sectors. You hold a Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance, or related field. Manage projects to meet or exceed client expectations and deadlines. Review and evaluate qualitative program aspects with the owner and verify conformance with project goals. Establish partnerships and serve as a liaison between the client and design / construction professionals. Procure design, construction, and consultant services; draft, review, negotiate, and enforce contractual documents. Direct and monitor project budget and schedule; maintain web-based project controls and provide budget / schedule analysis. Oversee development of architectural / engineering drawings and bid documents; manage project meetings. Engage with clients, city officials, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to present status and anticipate issues. Anticipate changes to budget or schedule and provide solutions; review value engineering options with the owner. Facilitate procurement of peer reviews and specialty consultants; motivate and direct internal resources. Oversee architect review of contractor and vendor activities for contractual compliance; authorize contracts and purchase orders; manage pay apps and progress draws. Monitor construction process and close-out; assist in business development and proposal efforts. Your Values and Skills
