Compensation: 85 - 105K Job Type: Full-Time Qualifications Preparing estimates of labor, material costs, general expenses and overheads Operating computer software programs Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and project specifications Understanding and being able to advise on the tendering process Setting up cost monitoring and reporting systems Maintaining a directory of suppliers and trade contractors Collaborating with engineers, architects, owners and contractors Supporting both greenfield and brownfield projects Suitable Candidates Will Have One Of The Following Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field Certification from a recognized professional body, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) Trade Journeyman Certificate and 5+ years of experience in construction estimating Other Qualifications And Skills 10+ years of previous experience in construction estimating Proficiency in using industry standard software such as PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst and Bluebeam Revu Strong understanding of construction methods and materials Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong communication and negotiation skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with local building codes and regulations Strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and cost estimating techniques Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Top Reasons To Join BrightPath Kids USA We offer a 60% child care discount to ALL employees so that your family can take advantage of our great learning environment!
