US LBM . PBS Commercial and SouthEnd Exteriors brands operate in the Carolinas providing building materials, installation services and turnkey solutions for multifamily and residential projects. What You Will Do

Arrange all job starts by reviewing plans, scheduling pre-construction meetings, coordinating materials, adhering to scopes of work, and assigning crews to projects. Direct and coordinate all field crew activities to optimize efficiency and profitability. Monitor production schedules and quality standards to ensure timely delivery and a quality product. Ensure compliance with safety and company policy standards through knowledge and enforcement of policies. Communicate with management regarding schedules, time sheets, budget accuracy, change orders and customer field issues. Perform job site carpentry labor as needed. Build long-term relationships with customers and field personnel to promote business growth. Provide strong leadership and mentoring to associates, and assist crews with advanced tasks. Maintain internal systems to ensure bids, invoices and customer information are accurate and current; attend required meetings. Maintain daily journals and job files, and complete documentation to support project records. Complete regular reporting/approvals including invoicing, coding, sales, vehicle and equipment inspections. Cultivate sub/temp relationships and assist in training while maintaining business relationships. Comply with safety and security policies; maintain regular and predictable attendance. Qualifications

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering/Management preferred. Experience Qualifications

1-3 years of Assistant Project Manager experience required. Skills And Abilities

Thorough knowledge of residential construction and OSHA safety regulations. Knowledge of state codes and procedures including energy codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints; planning and scheduling in a construction environment; estimating material needs. Ability to maintain Master Builder for all assigned jobs. Knowledge of carpentry methods, equipment, materials, and practices. Strong labor management and leadership skills with clear communication of goals and policies. Excellent organizational and math skills. Ability to manage a productive labor force of up to 50 associates. Ability to grow the customer base and report sales and profits. Licenses and Certifications

Driver’s License required and valid in-state upon hire. Travel Requirements
