Job Summary
We’re seeking a
mid‑level Electrical Engineer (4–7 years of experience)
to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The role focuses on designing and developing
analog and DC power electronics
for communication circuits, supporting both new and legacy products. You’ll collaborate closely with power electronics and mechanical engineers in a hands‑on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop analog and DC power electronics for communication systems .
Modify discrete switch mode power supply designs to PMIC using Cadence schematic capture.
Test and certify design changes per the MSI Power Architect’s test plan
(across 3 PCBs).
Troubleshoot and resolve field and factory issues on legacy products .
Analyze complex technical data to identify and implement effective solutions.
Manage project deliverables within established timelines (typically 6–12 months).
Top Contributions in the First 90–120 Days
Replace an
end‑of‑life component
with a qualified active part to maintain product shipments.
Complete schematic and layout updates for
next‑generation infrastructure hardware .
Validate design performance through
structured testing and documentation .
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field).
4–7 years of hands‑on experience in power electronics or analog circuit design.
Strong understanding of switch mode power supplies (buck configuration).
Proficiency in schematic capture (Cadence preferred) and PCB layout best practices.
Ability to operate an oscilloscope for transient measurements.
Experience with product development, testing, and troubleshooting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
