Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Ops Engineering is seeking an innovative and solutions-oriented engineering project leader to develop and deliver next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. The team supports retrofit designs for first mile retrofits as well as controls & solutions development for future projects. Responsibilities include: Coordinating design and innovation efforts for the fulfillment network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, and site layout. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions under tight deadlines. Managing multiple projects simultaneously while influencing, negotiating, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Communicating technical solutions and business cases to senior executives. This role involves up to 50% travel and requires candidates to live near or be willing to relocate to the specified locations, with relocation assistance possible. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in a design-related role. Experience with automated material handling, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing systems. Ability to understand and validate design changes, and work within the full system development lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Design, or related field. Additional 3+ years of relevant experience.
