Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Ops Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented engineering project leader to lead initiatives in developing and delivering next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. The Firm Engineering Team will support retrofit designs for first mile retrofits as well as controls & solutions development for future projects.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions within short timeframes.
Manage multiple projects and tasks effectively while influencing, negotiating, and communicating with stakeholders.
Communicate technical solutions and project vision clearly to senior executives.
Travel up to 50% globally to interact with internal and external leaders.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, 3+ years of experience in a design-related role, experience with automated material handling equipment, robotics, and system design, and strong communication skills.
