Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Ops Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented engineering project leader to lead initiatives developing and delivering next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. The Firm Engineering Team will support retrofit designs for first-mile retrofits as well as controls & solutions development for future projects.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions within short timeframes.
Manage multiple projects and tasks effectively, influencing and negotiating with internal and external partners.
Communicate effectively with senior executives, presenting technical solutions and business cases.
Travel up to 50% globally to interact with business and technical leaders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a design-related role.
Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing systems.
Effective communication skills and the ability to lead and influence teams.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree and additional years of relevant experience.
