We are seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, mentor staff, enforce policies, and ensure the unit functions efficiently while delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations. Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery. Mentor and support less experienced nurses, providing clinical guidance and career development. Establish and uphold standards of care for resident safety and well-being. Review resident records and monitor the quality of care to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans. Conduct case reviews and ensure individualized care plans are consistently followed. Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner. Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations. Advocate for the unit’s interests to upper management and collaborate to address issues as needed. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care (preferred). At least 1 year of experience in a Unit Manager role (preferred). Valid RN License required. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. What we offer
