Overview

US Farathane is seeking an Automation Technician at our Austin, TX location. Responsibilities

Build, maintain and troubleshoot robotic and automation systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Get running the secondary automated equipment during production. Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and pneumatic/control components. Part replacement. Report on the automation equipment status. Support on the quality and continuous improvement projects. Perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic modifications on fixtures. Support a team concept of working together in a mutually supportive atmosphere, respecting individuality, encouraging and using suggestions, and expressing appreciation for the efforts of our co-workers at all levels. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to maximize machine utilization and productivity. Fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures, using metalworking machines. Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
