Key Responsibilities
Quality Leadership & Manufacturing Support
Oversee quality performance at contract manufacturers in Southern California and Corsair’s internal manufacturing in Duluth, GA.
Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of Corsair quality standards, procedures, and inspection criteria.
Support new product introductions (NPIs) by embedding quality requirements into manufacturing processes early.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for systemic issues.
Global Quality KPIs & Continuous Improvement
Define, implement, and manage global manufacturing quality KPIs such as yield, defect rate, customer returns, and supplier performance.
Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to executive leadership.
Benchmark best practices across internal and external manufacturing sites, standardizing quality processes worldwide.
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce cost of quality.
Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless design-to-manufacturing transitions.
Partner with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive ongoing improvement.
Conduct and oversee audits to ensure compliance with Corsair standards, ISO requirements, and applicable regulations.
Mentor and train internal teams and external partners on quality tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
5–7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Deep knowledge of quality tools and methodologies: SPC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, Lean, DOE.
Strong track record in root cause analysis, CAPA, and global KPI management.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills across global teams and external partners.
Willingness to travel between Los Angeles, CA, Duluth, GA, and global sites (up to 25%).
For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $110,000—$155,000 USD
