Our Geotechnical Team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated Geotechnical Engineer to work at our Denver location. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients.

About The Role

Conduct geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure.

Participate in geotechnical site investigation and laboratory testing programs and interpret results.

Prepare high‑quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones.

Manage the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases.

Collaborate effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution.

Mentor junior staff.

Willingness to travel to client sites within the USA and internationally to support project activities.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of relevant experience in engineering, with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification being a valuable asset.

A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.

Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Familiarity with international tailings management standards.

Proven experience in the design of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, heap leach facilities and related mine infrastructure.

Expertise in dam stability analysis, water management, and civil design principles.

Proficiency in GeoStudio, Slide, advanced modelling tools such as PLAXIS (or similar), and Autodesk Civil 3D is a strong asset.
