Overview
At TCS Communications LLC, as a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground, you’ll be responsible for in-house and subcontractors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and profitability. You will provide oversight, scheduling, instructions, interpretation, and training, as needed, for all crews, subcontractors, and inspectors for the construction/upgrade of cable television or telephone systems. What You’ll Do
Customer & City pre-construction walkouts Field supervision to ensure that safety, industry and customer practices are followed during the construction process Accurate daily construction progress updates Post construction walkthrough including completion of TQA documentation Visit and inspect job sites Reviews of dailies, timecards and other financial reports for accuracy and timeliness Work through design challenges and changing orders efficiently and effectively Supervise and implement the underground construction methods ensuring that each jobsite utilizes the construction rules, practices, and policies Supervisor in-house crews and/or inspect subcontractor crews Supervisor safety program for work areas Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed and contribute to company strategies and plans Ensure that construction schedules are met on time Represents company and interfaces with customers, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities Coordinates, leads, and provides assistance to the crews, subcontractors, and other interested parties Works with the Incident Review Committee (IRC) to determine preventability for incidents and injuries Other duties as assigned What You’ll Need
To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 5 years of related work experience Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience Project management skills include planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check Benefits
