Location: AZ201: RMS AP Bldg 801 1151 East Hermans Road Building 801, Tucson, AZ, 85756 USA.

Position: Onsite. Requires U.S. citizenship with Secret clearance. Candidates must hold an active DoD clearance prior to start date.

Overview We need a technical leader to drive integration and testing for the Javelin Light Weight Command Launch Unit (LWCLU) and missile development. The role involves collaboration across program management, engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing.

What You Will Do

Ensure technical integrity of Javelin LWCLU assembly.

Lead integration activities and manage technical risk for LWCLU electronics and optics.

Oversee failure investigations, obsolescence redesigns, supplier issues, and other technical support.

Mentor junior engineers and provide supervision.

Support component‑level design and test reviews.

Collaborate with suppliers and customers for procurement and capability demonstrations.

Accept occasional travel, including foreign trips.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Must Have

Bachelor of Science in Optics, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related STEM field.

Minimum 6 years experience in optical design, system integration, and testing.

Experience with LWCLU optical design, assembly, and test.

Experience in Creo parametric modeling and release processes.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance before start date.

Qualifications – Preferred

Master’s degree in a related discipline.

Leadership experience managing technical teams and proposal support.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MATLAB/IDL.

Experience writing C++ and test automation.

DOE clearance or SSBI.

Background in EO sensor integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

Salary range: 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD.
