Entry Level Electrical Engineer role at GFT in Fife, WA. We are seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to support our Buildings & Places group in our Fife office. The electrical team focuses on energy-efficient power systems, HVAC and plumbing design, and building system performance to create a sustainable built environment. What You Will Do
Design and model building and site power and lighting systems. Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment. Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design. Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Assist project managers to troubleshoot design and construction challenges. Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review. Perform site visits and write field reports. Calculate and analyze electrical loads. Education | Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 0-3 years of experience with electrical design for buildings, including power distribution and lighting systems. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Engages multiple perspectives when solving problems and supports peer learning. Prior experience or familiarity with the A/E/C industry. Experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Compensation
The salary range for this position is $63,000-$95,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits
