Overview
Quality Engineer 3 (H/F) - NORTHWEST AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. role at AEROCONTACT. NAT is a Safran Company and the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. The team provides design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing services for a variety of customers in the aerospace sector. Responsibilities
Manage NAT's approved Quality System and conduct internal and external quality audits of NAT's QMS and suppliers. Lead nonconformance investigations, tool calibration, and corrective actions for product failures and internal/external non-conformities. Assist with testing/inspecting processes for related products and support testers with quality tools and techniques. Pull monthly quality metrics and perform Pareto analysis of defects. Conduct contract reviews as quality engineering focal, ensure customer requirements flow to the organization and to suppliers as applicable. Manage document updates and approvals through the internal document control system. Manage drawing reviews and approvals for the Quality Department; identify required tooling and inspection equipment for new product introduction. Serve as quality focal for Integrated Product Teams as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned by Quality department management. Qualifications
Four-year technical degree preferred, or relevant training; a high school diploma or GED is required. 7+ years of relevant industry experience. Understanding of AS9100, ISO13485, ITAF16949; working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems required. Strong mathematical/technical skills; investigative and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. Good interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels; strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office; ability to present complex technical information clearly. Team-oriented, process-focused, open and honest communication; customer-focused with the ability to persevere and execute with urgency. Working Conditions
Regular manufacturing hours with possible overtime, weekend and on-call work; primarily warehouse and manufacturing environment; some travel may be required. Equal Employment Opportunity
