Job title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Case Manager. Location: Augusta, GA. Employment type: Full Time. Base pay range: $68,500.00/yr - $87,300.00/yr. Job Summary

This position provides research coordination for assigned oncology studies. Responsibilities include becoming familiar with study protocols, reviewing charts and screening potential study participants, conducting study procedures that may include blood draws and preparing specimens for shipment and testing, reading lab results, collecting and entering study data and preparing and maintaining documents. Responsibilities

Evaluation & Implementation of Clinical Trials: Review study protocols, primary disease category and investigational drug information; Familiarity with all study requirements; Communicate and coordinate with AU areas involved in the study (ice radiology, laboratory services, pathology, patient scheduling, etc.); Set up studies according to sponsor requirements and IRB policies; Adapt studies for amendments and extensions. Recruitment of Subjects: Understand inclusion/exclusion criteria; Develop recruitment plans with Principal Investigators; Prepare advertisements for institutional approval; Liaise with sources of referral (clinical staff, community groups, referring physicians); Screen patients for eligibility; Verify informed consent procedures. Conduct of Study: Schedule patient visits, laboratory tests and procedures; Dispense investigational drugs per protocol under PI direction; Obtain laboratory samples; Monitor vital signs and assist with examinations; Ensure Good Clinical Practices. Medical Management: Assess patient health; Report adverse events to sponsor and IRB; Notify PI of patient condition; Assist in adverse event management; Schedule follow-up procedures as needed. Study Documentation & CRF Completion: Maintain regulatory documents; Ensure proper documentation and reporting; Complete source documents; Collaborate with data coordinators for case report forms and data entry; Enter patient information into OnCore. Reports & Financial Documentation: Complete all required reports, including IRB continuation reports; Submit IND safety reports as required. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications

Educational Requirements Bachelors degree in nursing and current RN license in Georgia with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a specialized area; BLS/BCLS certification. OR Associates degree in nursing with six years of clinical experience and RN license in Georgia; BLS/BCLS certification. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in health-related field or life sciences with ten years of oncology or clinical research experience; CCRC or Oncology Nurse Certification; knowledge of federally funded and industry-sponsored studies. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Flexible, well-organized; ability to maintain confidentiality and set priorities; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office and related software; experienced in blood draws, specimen preparation, and medical terminology. Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F (exempt role; may require work outside normal hours). Salary range: $68,500 - $87,300 annually; Salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range.
