The Medical Lab Technologist shall provide timely and courteous service to patients, physicians, and hospital staff by performing laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently. This individual will detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience
Associate’s degree with Medical Laboratory Technology and clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification, as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry required. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical or Clinical Laboratory Sciences from an institution meeting CLIA personnel testing qualifications for moderate & high complexity testing. License / Certification
Associate degree requires active ASCP Medical Laboratory Technologist certification. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software. Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills. Must be able to meet strict deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to develop trust with leaders in the organizations. Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance. Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Location & Job Details
