Responsibilities
Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for telehealth and in-patient services. Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions and attitude to deliver excellent patient care; provide guidance to ensure quality professional services. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns with adherence to company values. Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and maintain confidence with all employees. Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with focus on patient-centric care, safety, and accurate information. Comply with Federal and State regulations and health information management, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment in both in-patient and virtual settings. Attend to telehealth queues and ensure proper patient follow-up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care. Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols and complete mandatory compliance training. Support core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Provide ideas to improve patient experience and care; communicate regularly to support patient care. Welcome new employees, assist with onboarding, training, and coaching; support new employee training with job shadowing and demonstrations. Build and maintain credible relationships with employees and clients; maintain a positive work atmosphere. Comply with company standards of operation and maintain confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual channels and demonstrate experience as a Telehealth Clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees: minimum of 4 shifts per month; Full-time: 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
On-call periodically throughout the year (Ancillary Providers). Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a NP; new grad PA with up to 1 year of experience. Level 2: NP with over 1 year and
Level 3: NP with over 5 and
Level 4: NP with over 10 years; PA with over 10 years.
Education and Experience
Education:
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS) Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER/Trauma, or Family Practice strongly preferred). Licenses and Certifications
Active license and DEA, verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; where limited by state law, DEA is required within 120 days of meeting minimum practice years. Providers must be able to treat all ages; DOT certification must be obtained within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
