Responsibilities
Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals.
Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care; provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality services.
Perform responsibilities described in the SCRIBE job description.
Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure patient satisfaction.
Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values.
Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
Deliver patient-centered care with in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, prioritizing safety, cost, and accuracy.
Ensure activities comply with department expectations and federal and state regulations (HIPAA and health information management).
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment in both in-patient and virtual settings.
Pursue telehealth queue in a timely fashion to ensure proper patient follow-up.
Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care.
Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and E/M training.
Adhere to NP/PA protocols; participate in compliance training to maintain quality of care.
Maintain core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
Propose ideas to improve patient experience and care within clinic and telehealth.
Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
Welcome and onboard new employees; facilitate introductions and clinic process orientation.
Assist new employees with learning activities and required training; support training through shadowing and coaching.
Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees; maintain positive work relationships with clients, co-workers and managers.
Adhere to the physical demands and operate in a manner consistent with company standards of operations.
Promote and maintain a culture of confidentiality.
Provide care via virtual channels when appropriate.
Demonstrate proven Telehealth experience.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
PRN employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full-time employees work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Qualifications & Experience Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MS or MMS).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma, or family practice strongly preferred).
Licensure/Certification: Active DEA; DOT certification required within 120 days of employment and maintained thereafter.
Licensing & Compliance
License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; where limited by state law, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice.
Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements; DOT certification is required to be obtained within 120 days of employment and maintained thereafter.
HIPAA and health information management compliance; adherence to company standards of operations.
Education & Licensing Details Education Requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing; Licensure Requirements: Family Nurse Practitioner License and Physician Assistant License.
