About the Position: TCBH is hiring for an Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse that would be responsible for preventing and controlling healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and promoting the health and safety of staff. This role oversees infection prevention programs, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and manages employee health services including screenings, vaccinations, exposures, and wellness initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time Hourly pay rate: $37.74 Primary hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Primary Work Location/Department: TCBH – Nursing Department Vacancies: 1 Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and three years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. OR A bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. OR A master’s degree and one year of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity. Special Requirements
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license. Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds. Knowledge of CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, and CMS regulations. Strong analytical, teaching, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments. Benefits
