Responsibilities
Take a leadership role in managing high impact deals to closure
Manage and coach a team of Territory Managers through ride alongs, pipeline reviews and regular constructive feedback
Hold Territory Managers accountable for sales activities, CRM updates, and developing relationships with accounts
Support and develop sales team members: order, conversion, expansion, re-order
Participate in demonstrations, product presentations, customer meetings, and regional clinical meetings; develop quarterly, monthly, and weekly targets for Sales Representatives
Track activities and submit reports on sales activities accurately and on-time within CRM systems
Manage forecast and probability within the CRM system
Develop selling opportunities in high impact accounts and engage leadership in said opportunities
Meet product category sales targets across the portfolio
Drive activities to increase service sales
Monitor utilization of performance contracts
Demonstrate the selling process, identify pain points, and move customers through the process
Maintain region staffing with open territories filled within the allotted timeframe
Operate as a lead during national and regional trade shows
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or related field
Minimum 8 years of Medical Device sales, preferably in GI Sales
5+ years of experience in sales management
Knowledge of the medical device industry and familiarity with its concepts, practices, and procedures
Effective and clear communication skills
Proven success in managing a sales territory and selling to all levels of an organization
Ability to forecast and travel within territory on a regular basis (frequent overnight and weekend travel)
Comfortable with the demonstration process and moving customers through the selling process
Understanding of PENTAX equipment and competitive equipment
Ability to interact with physicians and train/coach territory managers
Advanced knowledge of disease, anatomy, and overall market understanding
Credibility with key opinion leaders
