Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a full-time caseload in an elementary school setting. This contract role starts immediately and extends through the end of the current school year, offering a dynamic environment to support young learners in developing essential communication skills. Responsibilities
Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student\'s unique needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation of services and compliance with district and state requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications
Must hold a valid New Jersey Department of Education Speech Therapist certification. Possession of a current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license is required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting. Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year will not be considered. Location
Elementary school environment located in Newark, New Jersey. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for this position ranges from $47.13 to $67.13 per hour. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
