Part-time Residential Counselor (Mental Health Group Home) – Freehold, NJ Location: Freehold, NJ (Monmouth County) What You’ll Do
The Residential Counselor supports group home residents with daily living activities and delivers high quality services that help consumers achieve measurable outcomes in accordance with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP). Support consumers in achieving personal care goals and addressing ongoing challenges. Educate consumers on medications, track logs, and conduct monthly audits. Coordinate services based on individual needs. Transport consumers using the company van as needed. Accurately document services within required timeframes using electronic health records. Who You Are
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, social work, human services, or a related field from an accredited college or university; OR A combination of one or more years of college plus related life or work experience equal to four years; OR High school diploma or GED plus four years of related work or life experience. Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). What We Offer
