Offshore Animal Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our exceptional team. We are a thriving primary, emergency, and urgent care practice for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics in Nantucket, MA. If you are passionate about pets and providing exemplary customer service, we want you to join our team! The ideal candidate: Dependable and punctual Friendly and outgoing Team player Organized and self-motivated Computer literate Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours required Experience in veterinary hospital preferred Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy of payments, record entry, etc. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities Ability to communicate with employees and clients in a professional and courteous manner Responsibilities
Answering phones Schedule appointments and surgical procedures Check-in/out clients Handle basic client complaints Monitor and manage client flow from check-in to discharge Proficiency in the veterinary practice software utilized daily Proficiency in the online platforms used for appointment management Assist in cleaning the hospital including keeping reception desk area and lobby clean and sanitary; keep over the counter product shelves neat and clean Process payment transactions Handle end of day accounting needs Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record Handle administrative duties including communication with vendors Qualifications
