Overview
Mental Health Professional- Children's CTSS People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Professional. This position provides an array of services using evidence-based practices that support client recovery, and facilitate safe, secure, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliances, conducting diagnostic and comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning and daily interventions. The Mental Health Professional will provide clinical supervision and documentation oversight for the CTSS practitioners. Responsibilities
Develop and implement client mental health services, ensuring documentation standards are met and addressing emergency situations as needed while demonstrating sound decision-making, discretion, and problem-solving skills at all times. Provide program and/or divisional clinical supervision for People Incorporated staff that results in increased knowledge and skills necessary for the role. Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns, guiding counsel and evaluation of service delivery, approving and/or co-signing treatment plans, documentation, and interaction with other program staff as required. Complete comprehensive assessment of client functioning and its relationship to mental and chemical health; include a risk assessment identifying risk factors and interventions in accordance with best practices; assist in identifying personal goals, strengths, and limitations. Lead and participate in mental health services, sharing clinical expertise with team members and advancing the reputation of services provided. Provide individual and group interventions, consistent with current evidence-based practices, ensuring interventions align with the client’s services desires and treatment plan. Collaborate with key clinical staff to ensure compliance with license requirements and program training. Coordinate with program leadership to ensure consistency of clinical direction given to staff. Provide therapy in area of specialization, as required. Contribute to the development of specialized training for other clinical staff members, as required. Serve as the designated program lead in the absence of the primary program manager or supervisor. Requirements
Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in the behavioral sciences Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions OR proof of current clinical licensure as described above within 60 days of employment Current and valid Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor status for one or more professional boards One year (2000 hours) of experience working with children and families Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of CTSS experience Prior mental health experience Benefits
