Position: Pediatric Nocturnal Hospitalist
The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a
board-certified or eligible pediatric nocturnal hospitalist
for a faculty position at the Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a new, single-room acute care medical-surgical unit, working alongside dedicated housestaff and advanced care providers.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching medical students and pediatric residents
Supervising advanced care providers
Participating in hospital-related administrative, research, and quality improvement initiatives
The candidate will join our active Pediatric Hospital Medicine group, which is engaged in medical education, quality improvement, research, and administration.
Compensation and Qualifications Salary Range:
$180,000 - $200,000
The listed salary is for full-time employment and does not include incentives or benefits. Actual salary will depend on experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors.
The ideal candidate will:
Be BC/BE in Pediatrics
Possess outstanding clinical skills
Hold current NY licensure and PALS certification
Be eligible for a faculty appointment at NYU Grossman School of Medicine
