Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join our team as full-time nocturnist hospitalist at the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone Health. The individual will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art acute care medical-surgical unit. The division actively engages in supervision and teaching of medical students, pediatric residents, and advanced practice providers, as well as hospital-related administrative, research, and quality improvement initiatives. The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division offers access to professional development resources. Responsibilities

Supervision and teaching of medical students, pediatric residents, and advanced practice providers Participation in hospital-related administrative, research, and quality improvement initiatives Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care in a pediatric hospital medicine service Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics Current New York licensure and PALS PHM board eligibility or certification is not required but is a plus Recent residency graduates are welcome to apply Eligible for a faculty appointment at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $180,000 – $200,000 for full-time employment. This range does not include incentive compensation or benefits.
