MRG Exams . We are looking for a Licensed Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The Veteran files the claim before they see you. All medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence used by the VA to determine benefits. Audiologists will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices. This is an in-person position that typically reviews 3–6 Veterans per day. Schedule: 2 days per week, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. This role offers: 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes per patient, with no evenings, no on-call, and no weekends. Responsibilities
Review veteran medical records in the portal prior to and during appointments. Administer and interpret audiology assessments (Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometry). Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal to support VA disability determinations. Ensure the assessment and documentation support medical-evidence requirements for benefits decisions. Qualifications
Au.D. degree and graduation from an ASHA-Accredited program. Current license as an Audiologist. Benefits
