Audiologist - Leesville LA

MRG Exams . This IN-PERSON position offers: 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales. Schedule: 2 days/week 8a-4p. The Audiologist will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The veteran files the claim before they see you. You will review medical records in a computer portal during the appointment and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal to form the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
You will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices.
Responsibilities
Review veteran medical records in the computer portal prior to appointments.
Conduct Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal.
Form the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits.
Assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Requirements
Au.D and graduation from an ASHA Accredited school.
Current license as an Audiologist.
