Provide exceptional nursing care for patients and supervise nursing interventions while assigning related tasks. Assess patient, family and staff learning needs; deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions. Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care using the nursing process in accordance with professional nursing practice standards. Engage in activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy as appropriate to clinical nursing practice. Salary
Salary range: $56.63-$84.19 Hourly Qualifications
Current California RN license
required BSN or MSN
required 2 years ICU experience
required BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
required Ability to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs. Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
