Perform history and physical exams on new and established patients, including follow-up appointments. Consult with the supervising physician as needed. (20%) Provide follow-up and health maintenance care to patients according to established protocols or specific instructions from the supervising physician. (20%) Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for evaluation of illnesses based on training and experience. (10%) Provide counseling and health education to patients. (10%) Document clinical care according to established guidelines. (10%) Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as indicated by training and experience and as directed by the supervising physician. (10%) Communicate with patients and family members within legal confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. (10%) Participate in continuous quality improvement and other practice initiatives. (10%) Qualifications
Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas, in good standing Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies Maintain CME requirements for certification and licensure Additional Information
The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or Medical Director and will serve the THPG patient population within the assigned setting. Job Details
