Licensed Pharmacist Job Summary
This Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist will provide comprehensive, patient centered pharmacotherapy for the inpatient and outpatient H/O service lines, including therapeutic drug monitoring, drug regimen review, patient education, and medical staff interactions. This position will also provide educational services to pharmacy students, residents, pharmacists, physicians, and nurses through precepting, in-service presentations, and didactic teaching at the College of Pharmacy, contribute to scholarly productivity through clinical research, quality improvement, presentations, publications, etc., and uphold UK Healthcare core values and maintain effective teamwork with staff. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Strong clinical skills; knowledge of inpatient drug distribution and dispensing; ability to prioritize; excellent communication skills; team mentality; desire to teach; and motivation. Qualifications
PharmD degree preferred. ASHP PGY1 residency and/or PGY2 specialty residency preferred. Shift
Primarily 7:30am – 4pm; Monday through Friday; some weekend and/or holiday may be required per departmental need. Additional Information
The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum salary for this position will now be $104,697/year. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience. Deadline to Apply
