3x12s Job Summary
The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. The RN will provide care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. The RN must be able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately every patient that enters the emergency care system. The RN must determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. The RN must communicate with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient status, symptoms and results of diagnostic studies. The RN must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Required Experience / Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing At least three (2) years of experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or similar unit RN, current in the State of Texas BLS, ACLS, PALS USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
