Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians in our thriving Gastroenterology East Clinics located in Northeast Portland and Happy Valley. Overview Position: Clinic Manager – Gastroenterology East Clinics (NE Portland and Happy Valley)

Location: GI-East NE Portland location at the Gateway Medical Office Building; occasional coverage at GI-East Happy Valley location in Mt. Scott Professional Center Medical Plaza II

Schedule: Typical hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm; full-time role

Responsibilities

Acts as a working manager, providing leadership and clear communication while setting professional examples for staff.

Manage administrative roles in the department and serve as primary liaison among patients, clinic staff, physicians, and midlevel providers to ensure excellent patient care.

Assist Director with duties such as expense management, budgeting, project management, reporting, and implementing clinic initiatives.

Supervise and coordinate activities of front desk registration, financial counselors, scheduling, and medical records staff.

Collaborate with clinic supervisor to support the clinic operations.

Other duties as assigned.

Salary

Level I: $75,728.64 - $113,592.96 per year.

Level II: $89,157.12 - $133,735.68 per year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience is required.

Minimum of five (5) years of medical office experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Clinic leadership and/or GI specialty care experience is a plus.

Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is required; Epic experience is preferred.

Experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask effectively.

Excellent attendance and work ethic; positive attitude and teamwork mentality.

Professional and effective communication with patients, physicians, and team members.

Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
