Occupational Therapist – Brookline, MA CareOne at Brookline The Occupational Therapist’s (OT) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level. The OT will be assigned to multiple facilities and travel is frequent. The OT participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, manages resources to meet the needs of the resident and related customers balancing outcomes with cost-effective and efficient treatment. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within generally accepted practice methods, meeting center, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Evaluates residents and establishes effective treatment plans for residents assigned. Manages and coordinates supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated. Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices. Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues. Participates in center-directed processes and services. Demonstrates effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities. Performs clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements. Maintains complete, accurate, and timely billing records to meet regulatory requirements. Assists with marketing efforts as directed. Participates in in-service training programs as requested. May travel to other facilities to provide services. Position Requirements
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Current and Active Occupational Therapist license within the state of operation Preferred: experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation Preferred: knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings About Us
