Department: Labor and Delivery Location: High Point Medical Center What We Offer Generous PTO: Accrual of up to 200 hours/year, to be used for vacations, sickness, holidays, and personal matters. What You'll Need Graduation from a Surgical Technology program Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Preferred: Certification in specialty area How You'll Impact Patient Care Embrace this pivotal role in patient care as you work alongside the Registered Nurse. You'll support direct patient care, prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques. Key responsibilities of a Surg Tech include, but are not limited to: Ensure top-notch patient care, safety, and advocacy by anticipating and addressing case-specific needs with sharp critical thinking under RN supervision. Uphold excellence by impeccably managing instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Showcase your effective and positive communication style with the team, colleagues, and patients, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
