We are searching for a talented RN for a Med/Surg - Neuro Unit at Southcoast Health. Location
St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Hours and Shift
Hours: 32 hours per week Shift: DAY/EVE; (2) 7:00am - 7:30pm, and (1) 3:00pm - 11:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required. Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Three (3) months experience is preferred. Step down training within 3 months of hire. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt from the vaccination requirement by signing a statement certifying choosing to be exempt once hired. This is a 36-bed Medical/Surgical unit, specializing in Neurology, Neurosurgery and Level 2 Trauma. Telemetry monitoring is available for up to 26 patients. Patient population includes those undergoing vascular, thoracic and general surgery. We take pride in providing excellent patient care in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team. Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $38.81 - USD $67.58 /Hr. $9,600 New Hire Sign On with 3+ years of RN experience $8,000 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of RN experience $6,000 New Hire Sign On with less than 1 year of RN experience Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible Benefits andCulture
