Interact directly with patients, families and visitors to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care from initial introduction to discharge. Interact with patients to support their needs on a day-to-day basis and support the care team as required. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, patient preferences and resource availability. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records. Benefits

A caregiver in this position works a day/night rotation from 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. Minimum qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN). Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. New grad or less than one year RN work experience, or if an experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care in an inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience. Preferred qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Physical Requirements
Full range of motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium to heavy physical exertion as appropriate for patient care tasks. Personal Protective Equipment
Follows Standard Precautions and uses PPE as required for procedures. Pay
