Education/Experience

Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology

Computer Skills

Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation

Basic internet navigation skills

Certificates And Licenses

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)

Responsibilities

Provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with SLP therapy principles and Reliant guidelines

Screen and evaluate patients; develop initial and ongoing treatment plans of care

Discharge planning and case management; maintain professional conduct and quality care

Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology therapy

Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills through therapy

Build and sustain an effective SLP therapy program

Engage in continuing education and professional development

Maintain valid state licensure and awareness of professional and healthcare environment issues

Understand relevant billing models and deliver care within guidelines

Comply with infection control procedures and facility safety protocols

Read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, charts, and reports

Qualifications

Experience or interest in joining a leading rehab therapy provider serving SNFs and related facilities
