Responsibilities Provide Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Perform screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management as required.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Optimize patients' communication, cognitive‑linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills through direct therapy and oversight.
Build a strong SLP therapy program tailored to each facility’s needs.
Enhance your clinical expertise and management skills via collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education.
Maintain a valid state license and stay current with payment models, billing guidelines, and treatment protocols.
Ensure compliance with infection‑control procedures and environmental safety protocols.
Communicate clearly in English, including instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
Qualifications Education, licensure, and technical skills required for this role.
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (or equivalent).
Valid state Speech‑Language Pathologist license where applicable.
Computer literate with proficiency in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation.
