1 . Work Schedule: Days, 8 Hour Shifts, Monday - Friday. Filing Deadline: Fri 10/17/2025. Department and role details are as listed in the posting. This is a per diem, non-benefited position with the stated work schedule. Responsibilities

Under general supervision, will perform a full range of duties in a specialized functional area and able to perform all general tasks in all areas of pharmacy. Assists the pharmacist in the preparation of medications for patient use (oral and parenteral) according to established procedures; assist in the distribution of medications; maintains skills applicable to all information systems within the pharmacy, recordkeeping, and billing functions; maintain inventory levels; and perform other duties as assigned. Will perform assigned operational duties in a scheduled area and will assist pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in the assigned area. Minimum Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Minimum two - five years of relevant experience required. Must have the ability to perform retail/outpatient technician duties (i.e. Order Entry, Filling, Credit Card Processing/POS, Mail Order, etc). Must be driven to self-teach with regard to a rapidly changing clinical environment. Excellent author and communicator, both with patients and providers. Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience working in a specialty pharmacy or in an HIV Care Pharmacy. Experience with packaging and shipping prescriptions through various couriers. 340b Regulatory knowledge and background. Previous retail pharmacy experience in specialty diseases (i.e. Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, HIV/AIDS, Transplant, Hepatitis C). Thorough ability and willingness to seek out additional copayment support programs for high cost medications. Desire to achieve a desirable patient care outcome with each encounter. Comply with additionally required specialty disease competency programs required by accreditation commissions. Comfortable with public speaking and able to promote a justifiable position. Flexible to address any pharmacy need that may arise, especially those that are unexpected and occur suddenly. Special Conditions

Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. Additional Information

Pay Transparency Act: Annual Full Pay Range: $71,055 - $71,055 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $34.03 - $34.03.
