Work Schedule : Variable, 8 Hour Shifts, Sunday - Saturday, holidays and weekends.
Pay Scale : $34.03 per hour (Hourly Equivalent). Annual Full Pay Range: $71,055 - $71,055 (prorated if appointment %
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, assists the pharmacist in preparation of medications for patient use according to established procedures.
Facilitates distribution of medications including delivery to patient’s bedside via the Med‑2‑Bed program.
Performs computer order entry, record keeping, and billing functions.
Maintains inventory levels.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties across pharmacy areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum of 2‑5 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and calculations.
Proficient computer and data entry skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Experience with Meds To Beds Program or equivalent.
At least 2 years experience with medication ordering and inventory management.
340B regulatory knowledge.
Comfortable with public speaking and promoting pharmacy services.
Flexible to address unexpected pharmacy needs.
Special Conditions
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
