eeCorps Environmental Educator & Engagement Specialist - TGF

Position Summary
This role will support environmental education and community engagement at The Greenway Foundation (TGF) in Denver, CO, primarily through the South Platte River Environmental Education (SPREE) programs.
Responsibilities
Teach students at elementary school field trips, day camps, after school programs, and family & community events
Plan and implement community and family events with SPREE and TGF
Represent TGF/SPREE at community-run events
Implement environmental education programming for TGF’s stewardship programs for volunteers of all ages
Nurture relationships with collaborative partners
Determine pathways for TGF/SPREE educators to provide school teacher certification training and develop framework for programming.
Track progress and collect evaluation data for the program’s performance measures
Attend all required eeCorps/AmeriCorps orientations, meetings, and trainings
Complete and submit all necessary eeCorps paperwork and reports by predetermined deadlines
Some local travel required and occasional statewide travel possible
