Overview
Room Attendant – FT – 2nd Shift 5pm to 1:30am – $22.50 hr. Role is to ensure our rooms and suites are fresh and welcoming for guests, creating a comfortable space for rest or light work. Responsibilities
Ensure hotel rooms are maintained to standards and made special and memorable for guests. Assist guests with needs (e.g., toothbrushes, directions) and provide courteous service. Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and report any repairs needed. Follow established safety procedures and wear required protective equipment. Stay organized with supplies and amenities, aiming to minimize waste. Reunite lost items with owners and log lost and found property. Maintain a neat appearance and wear the uniform with pride. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required and assist with deep cleaning projects or turndown duties as needed. Monitor and control supplies across housekeeping areas and liaise with other departments to ensure quality service. Assist with other duties as assigned. Skills & Experience
Physical role – ability to be on your feet most of the day; good fitness level required. Strength to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and push/pull heavy objects; occasional bending and kneeling. Literacy skills (reading, writing, basic math). Flexible attitude to shifts; ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Hourly pay range:
$22.50 to $23.00 per hour. This range applies to jobs in Torrance, CA. The posted range is the minimum to maximum we believe we would pay at the time of posting and may be adjusted in the future.
