Overview
We’re searching for a Room Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience. Responsibilities
Make sure our rooms, suites, and other areas in hotel are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work. Help guests by assisting with needs such as toothbrushes or directions when required. Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed. Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed. Be organized, manage supplies and amenities, and minimize waste. Reunite items with owners and log any lost and found property. Look smart and wear your uniform with pride. Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed to complete tasks. Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste within all areas of housekeeping. Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items according to established procedures. Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service. May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects and may have turndown duties. May assist with other duties as assigned. What We Need from You
In the hotel industry we cater for our guest needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shifts will be assigned, but varying shifts across a 7-day period (including weekends, evenings, and public holidays) may be required. This is a physical role; you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important. Strength – occasional lifting up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pulling heavy objects. You may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities. Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic math skills. What We Offer
