Data Manager - Virginia Education Assessment Collaborative (Staff Wage)
The University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development is seeking candidates for the role of Data Manager for the Virginia Education Assessment Collaborative. The School of Education and Human Development serves as the administrative hub for the Virginia Education Assessment Collaborative (VEAC). Our school is responsible for one of our statewide consortium's central activities: surveying program graduates and their employers. We are seeking a data operations professional for our annual completer and employer surveys. Responsibilities
Maintaining program completion and employment records Cleaning and updating data sets in Excel Preparing data reports for 30+ institutions Responding to inquiries from program graduates, universities, and school division personnel Qualifications
Possess strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail Experience working with data in Excel Experience distributing surveys through an online platform Be open to exploring ways to use artificial intelligence to simplify data cleaning This is an annual project. Work takes place across the academic year with the most intense period of data collection occurring February – May each year. Pay: $26.50/hour Hours: Approximately 5 hours/week in late October and November (totaling 25-30 hours). The next phase of the project will begin in February, and we anticipate 5-10 hours/week from February through May (totaling 80-120 hours). This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
