Ron Tonkin Chevrolet has been servicing Portland’s automotive needs for decades and as always, business is growing! With that being said, we are interested in adding a Used Car Technician/Mechanic to our Service Department. Many of our clientele for our service department are used car owners so this position plays a significant role on our service team. The ideal candidate would be an individual with prior technician experience with a reliable track record. Responsibilities
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Keep the shop area neat and clean. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership. Benefits And Compensation

1-3 years prior used car technician experience. Valid Driver’s License. Personal Tools. Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
