The Flagstaff Unified School District is seeking an Enrichment Skills Trainer for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will provide instruction and training in specific skill areas, such as chess, robotics, STEM, and sports, to K-5 students and staff/community members.
Duties:
The Enrichment Skills Trainer will work in collaboration with activities staff to provide skill development and training for enrichment programs, including lesson planning and preparation of activity outlines. They will also provide logistical support, participate in program workshops and planning meetings, and follow district policies and procedures. Qualifications: Experience teaching specific skills, such as chess, robotics, etc. Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to interact positively with children ages 5-13 Current Arizona Department of Education Certificate Current Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen, and occasionally required to move from location to location and reach with hands and arms.
