Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 to join the team. This role will be Full-time (3) 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities
Writes a comprehensive patient history by gathering information from patients, records and/or family members, including seizure types, date of last seizure, other neurological symptomatology and medications as documented in charts. Conducts procedures at Inova Health System affiliated hospitals as requested and ensures patient safety and well-being at all times. Performs routine, ambulatory, neonatal exams, long-term video EEG, evoked potentials, SPECT scans, WADA tests and Tilt table with video EEGs. Conducts Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential studies and Visual Evoked Potential studies using appropriate instrumentation and pattern recognition. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Basic Life Support; Eligible for and successful completion of the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation EEG board examination with achievement as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.E.E.G.T.); must be obtained within two years of hire Licensure: None required Certification: None required Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Benefits
